There’s no denying that medical care can be expensive. That’s why many people choose to put a little money from each paycheck into a HSA, or Health Savings Account. When you put money into a HSA, that money goes into your account pre-tax, and then can be spent on medical care. It’s a great way to save money on inevitable medical bills. There is an annual limit to how much you can contribute to your Bank of America HSA, but there are “catchup” contributions available for people age 55 and older.
One of the most popular HSA accounts out there right now is the Bank of America HSA. If you have a new Bank of America benefits account through your employer, you’ll need to set up a username and password before you can start to use that account.
You’ll need to enter either your employee identification number or your Social Security Number on the Bank of America site to begin the setup process for your HSA.
If your employer offers it, you can even sign up for an individual HSA with Bank of America. A HSA account lets you take money pre-tax, and save it for medical expenses. To set up your Bank of America HSA, just click the “Apply Now” link and enter your information. You will be required to finish an “ID Authentication” process before your HSA enrollment can be completed.
