The Comfort Keepers company started in 1998 when a registered nurse saw that many of her patients needed help with their daily lives – with non medical needs. But as a RN, she was only legally able to help with medical issues. Many times, these seniors only needed very small things like a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk.
Kris Clum decided to provide a solution in Comfort Keepers, a company that harnesses the power of thousands of caring individuals, and lets seniors and other adults live safely, happily and independently in their own homes. Today, Comfort Keepers even has partnered with Sodexo to provide international care for more than 75 million people in countries like Ireland, Singapore, the UK, and France.
To make sure that their employees are satisfied with their job, Comfort Keepers has set up an online survey. This survey lets Comfort Keepers employees to rate various aspects of their job, like what benefits they look for most, and how long they see themselves working for Comfort Keepers. Employees are asked to rank different benefits like paid time off, wage increases, and paid health insurance to give Comfort Keepers corporate an idea of what their employees want. Comfort Keepers employees are also asked to name the thing they like most and least about their jobs, and asked to project how long they’ll stay with the company.
