Activate Crackle Online
- To activate Crackle, you will need to have a computer and your device connected to the Internet
- Download the app to your device, follow the instructions, and you’ll receive an activation code
- The full Crackle library can be found on the Apple Store, Amazon Marketplace, Google Play, Windows Phones, and Blackberry devices
Crackle is a free video entertainment network that functions across just about any platform and device. It’s packed with full-length movies, current and older TV shows, and original programming. Anything in their library can be watched for free – all you have to do is watch a few commercials. You can watch through the Crackle website, or through a huge number of wireless devices. Content on Crackle is always changing, and new features are being added all the time. So if you don’t see one of your favorites, be sure to check back often!
To use Crackle, you will need Internet Explorer 7 or above, Firefox or Chrome, JavaScript and Cookies enabled, Adobe Flash Player 10.0.2 or above, and Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Macintosh OS X.
Once you’ve activated your device and created an account, you can jump immediately in to watching, or create a “watch list” for later viewing.
- Most content does have closed captioning available. Just click on the settings “gear” icon when viewing a video and choose the “on” option. You’ll have the chance to choose the specific font and size that you want your closed captioning to appear in.
- Connect your social media accounts, and you can share your favorite videos or share comments on something you’ve watched
- Subscribe to a channel, and you’ll be notified as soon as new content appears from that creator
