Navy Federal Go Prepaid
- Go with a prepaid card (for those who have trouble with spending issues associated with a credit card)
- Prepaid cards only allow the card holder to spend the money available on the card
- Prepaid cards do NOT improve or harm a credit rating
NavyFederal.org/GoPrepaid is operated by the Navy Federal Credit Union. The Navy Federal GO Prepaid can be used where Visa debit cards are accepted. In order to receive a Navy Federal Go Prepaid card the applicant must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older. For each Primary Card the member can have up to one additional Companion Cardholder who must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid SSN. Any questions in regards to the Navy Federal GO prepaid card can be directed to (855) 477-1138 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- Ideal for people with spending problems
- The card must be initially funded with $20
- The member can have their pay check or Veterans Affairs payment deposited unto the card
- When funding the GO Prepaid Card with a Credit Card the funding transaction is processed as a regular purchase transaction, not a cash advance
- Members will not be charged a fee when purchasing a prepaid GO card from Navy Federal
- Please allow up to 10 business days for the card to arrive by US Mail (members who need the card ASAP can pay extra for express delivery which will have the card to the customer’s address in 4 business days or less)
- Those who do not receive their card within 14 days should dial (855) 477-1138
- Once the funds on the card have been used the card will become worthless until more funds are loaded
Fees associated with the Navy Federal Prepaid GO card?
- Lost or stolen card replacement fee: $5
- Transactions made in foreign/international countries in foreign currency: 1%
- Visa/Plus Network ATM withdraw fee: $1
