- The lucky winners are responsible for all necessary work permits, permissions, and consents of any kind before the remodel will begin
- Five second place prizes will be awarded in the form of one thousand U.S. dollars (paid via check)
- One and only one entry is allowed per person in the $45,000 Home Makeover Sweepstakes
- Contestants can enter online or by mail
