Share Your Sweet Story
- To celebrate the birthday of Sweethearts candies, share your love story for the chance to win $5,000 cash from Sweethearts
- Entrants in the Sweethearts $5,000 contest must be at least 18 years old, and must be a legal resident of the United States
- 5 runners up will will $500 each
The Sweethearts Share Your Sweet Story Contest is giving one lucky winner $5,000 cash, and 5 lucky runners up $500 cash. The only thing needed for entry is to share a “sweet” love story of 150 words or less and share how long you’ve been sweethearts at shareyoursweetstory.com. The Sweethearts contest website gives examples of stories, and an entry can be about any “sweet” love story, from a boy and a dog to a husband and wife to a father and son.
The entry period for the chance to win $5,000 from Sweethearts starts at midnight on December 26, 2015, and runs through 11:59 p.m. on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2016. To share a story and be eligible for the cash prize, entrants must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Winners are responsible for taxes on a prize like this, which would be about $2,000.
Once the contest has ended, a list of winners of $5,000 and $500 can be obtained by sending a self addressed, stamped envelope to: Share Your Sweet Story Contest, Attn: Winners List, 135 American Legion Highway, Revere, MA 02151. Any request for a winners list must be received by March 15 of 2016.
