Sperry Drilling Settlement
- A class action lawsuit against Haliburton alleges that certain employees who worked for the company between March of 2013 to April of 2015 were not properly paid for overtime hours

Employees of the Haliburton corporation who worked between the dates of March 2013 to April 2015 could be eligible for free compensation thanks to a new class action lawsuit against Haliburton. Haliburtion employees who were affected will need to submit a notice of consent to join settlement if they wish to take part in the overtime lawsuit against Haliburton.
This class action lawsuit against Haliburton alleges that certain employees who worked domestically for the Halliburton company as a DD, a MWD, or a LWD (only in the levels of associate through Level II) were not compensated for overtime as required by federal law. This class suit covers the dates of March 1, 2013 through April 17, 2015.
Employees who are interested in filing a claim in the Haliburton class action lawsuit will need to do so by December 28, 2015. Haliburton employees who are looking to specifically exclude themselves from this class action suit (because they plan to sue Haliburton over the overtime issue on their own) will need to make sure their exclusion is sent in by December 28, 2015 as well.
A final approval hearing in the Haliburton overtime class action suit will be held on January 8, 2016. If approved, Haliburton settlement funds will be distributed within 14 days of this final approval hearing.
