UI Texas Workforce Login
- Access a variety of services associated with unemployment benefits for those in the state of Texas
- Users will be required to create an Unemployment Benefit Services online systems account before they can access UI benefits online
- This service is operated by the Texas Workforce Commission
The UI Texas Workforce Login service is free to use and an email address is required in order to register. Only residents living in the state of Texas are allowed to use this online unemployment portal and when filing for unemployment benefits the resident will need the following:
- Last employer’s business name and address (for example McDonald’s – 6010 W Parmer Ln, Austin, TX 78727)
- How many hours worked per week and hourly pay associated with the work
- First and last dates (month, day and year) worked for the applicants last employer
- Standard wage information (normally the UI applicant will be required to provider their wage information for the past five quarters if available)
- Alien Registration Number (if not a U.S. citizen or national)
The entire UI texas Workforce unemployment application should take about 20 minutes to complete and any questions about the service can be directed to 800-252-3642. Please note Internet Explorer version 8 or higher, the Content Advisor must be disabled to access the Texas Workforce Internet systems. The UI Texas Workforce applicant will also need to provide payment information just in case they are actually approved for benefits. Payment information required includes:
- The nine-digit routing number from a U.S. bank or credit union in GOOD STANDING
- The checking/saving account number
- Account type (i.e. checking or savings)
- A check, not a deposit slip, for the routing or account number
Please do not guess at the banks routing number or account number. Applicants should contact their bank or credit union ASAP if thy are unsure about the routing and account numbers as providing bad numbers will result in a UI payment delay.
