To activate your Verizon device, you will need to have your Electronic Serial Number (ESN) or your Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID). Either one of these numbers will be located under the battery on your phone. To locate the MEID or the ESN, remove the battery. This number is specific to your phone, and is how your phone is identified for activation. You will need to make sure that your phone is compatible with the Verizon network.
Once you’ve entered your device details, and you confirm that you have the appropriate device, you’ll be asked to choose what plan you want. If you’re upgrading your current device, you’ll be asked to confirm the details of your plan again.
