Customers who have recently visited a Whataburger location can logon to take a guest satisfaction survey. The store number of the specific Whataburger visited is printed on every receipt to make sure that the guest’s feedback makes is to the appropriate Whataburger locatons.

With almost 65 years of experience in the fast food industry, Whataburger is widely known for their iconic A-frame buildings with orange and white roofs. Whataburger is also known for their unique product names, including the “Whataburger” (their original burger), the “Whataburger Jr.” (a smaller version of their standard burger), the “Justaburger” (a plain version of the normal Whataburger), the “Whatacatch” (a fish sandwich), and the “Whatachick’n (a chicken sandwich).
Today, Whataburger is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, and has a little over 22,000 employees across the United States.
Since the names are so similar, Whataburger is sometimes confused with the “What-A-Burger” chain primarily found in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The first “What-A-Burger” store did come just before the first “Whataburger,” but “Whataburger” holds a trademark. Since “What-A-Burger” is so small, and poses no real risk of the two brands being confused, courts have decided to let both businesses stand.
