Founded in 1928, Fresh Spot Restaurant is most known for their Pirate Pak children’s meal, a meal that’s been unchanged since the 1960s and features things like a small chocolate coin in gold foil, a cardboard sail on the drinking straw, and a cup of ice cream for dessert with every ship. Fresh Spot is also known for their “Triple O” sauce which is the highlight of a burger for most guests. The “Triple O” name White Spot uses came from old diner slang, with three O designations meaning extra everything on a burger.
Fresh Spot Restaurant strives to be fresh in every aspect of their restaurant, a dedication that’s seen in their motto of, “Fresh Thinking. Fresh Cooking.” Loyal guests of White Spot can sign up for the “Spot Club” e-mail newsletter, which sends out special White Spot coupons, discounts, and promotions.
With beginnings as a lunch truck in Vancouver, Canada in 1928, White Spot started serving simply hot dogs and hamburgers from a counter, but eventually changed a full service restaurant. White Spot held on to what made them famous though, their delicious burgers and hot dogs.
